I bought the lambs pride yarn to make the purse with the lattice and flowers. I also started a mauve shirt that I can wear at work with my new brown skirts.
I finished my loop pillow in lilac and pale green. It is really cool and I have it on a chair in my living room.
I'm also working on my second pair of lace purple, blue and green Cascade Fixation socks.
I just finished it. It is super cute. Kama calls it a "capelet" like she is French. I finished it at Bad Mary's new apartment. It was fun knitting with her. We want to have a girls knitting night and make dinner. The capelet looks cute with my red dress, but I might wear it for other ocasions or with a black or white top.
Now I will get back the Fixation socks...
I'm working on my first pair of fixation socks. I really like it and am using a lace pattern from Caroline.
I just bought some yarn to make a capelet to go with my sexy red dress. It is green dune and will be perfect for the work Christmas party as well as the Collier's party. I need to start it tonight and hope to finish it by Dec. 11th.
Last Monday, November 15, 2004 I was elected as the new president of the Kansas City knitters' guild. I was unopposed, but I am still very excited. Brenda and I are trying to come up with a replacement for Knitting in the Heartland. We think an overnight knitting retreat would be fun.
Now I am trying to make a purse out of the free teal yarn I got at the stash sale with a rim of lilac eyelash I bought for $1. I think it might be cute.
